Archive for January, 2011

Ella has officially said NO more photos Mum!! And I think I agree! Time for a break :)   It’s been great fun sharing with you all and I promise to do it again next year!

All I heard was
‘Help, Mummy, Help Me’

So I went running…
Then I laughed and laughed and laughed.

Then I went and got the camera :)

What a way to end my January Photo-a-Day Challenge – I hope you’ve enjoyed this little peek into my life.  It really has been a challenge, but I’m glad that I did it.  But it can definitely wait until next January ;)

This family was delightful – when they said they wanted a beach shoot, they meant it, togs and all!  We managed to squeeze in this session as mum and daughter are heading off to the UK next weekend, and we’re so glad!  Perfect weather for the beach :)

Santa bought Talan a fishtank and 3 fish for Christmas.
2 weeks later they were all gone (side note: Talan thinks the brown one ate the two orange ones and then was stolen by the waterman… we didn’t correct him.)

Today Nick took him to the fishy store and bought him two new ones.
When we asked what he wanted to name them… well, what else did I expect??

Percy is brown and Thomas is orange.
Let’s hope they live longer…

The pool was so so freezing.. the kids never seem to care though, they could stay in there forever!  I love all their BIG smiles and Ella’s face just makes me laugh out loud!! Completely wore them out, and ALL are sleeping soundly.. for now anyway!

I think the look on her face says it all…

‘really, another photo of me eating…’

Well it seems to me that it’s all we do around here at the moment – it always snacktime/mealtime for someone.  Peyton’s like a newborn again, feeding every two hours with milk and now solid food.

But at least now she sleeps through the night :)

Our best behaved cake smasher yet!! Little Grace loved everything about it.  So much fun! What a great way to celebrate turning 1.. hope you had a lovely day x

These two are definitely ‘girly’ girls.. when they are not running around in their knickers, which is pretty often, I’ll find them dressed up in their fairy outfits. I love their imagination.. so fun!

This is going to have to be a multiple part blog post – this gorgeous family just had far too many for me to choose from!

We met Jasmin and her lovely family a few months back, Jasmin is the organiser extraordinaire from The Butterfly Tree. Jasmin has done such an amazing job organising these markets and we were honoured to be able to do a family session with her. Make sure you come and check out the next market on Sunday 6th February at the Gold Coast Arts Centre from 9am – 2pm.

The kiddies were AMAZING!  They have such beautiful little personalities and they were super fun.  We asked them to name the goldfish – and they came up with Rainbow & Crabs.  I bet you can guess who came up with which name :)

Part two of this post won’t be far away – Jasmin, I hope you enjoy your photos!!
