December 22, 2011Miss K’s Naming Day | Mt Tamborine Photographer
December 16, 2011We always feel so honoured when someone chooses us to photograph a special day of theirs – whether it be a birth, a wedding, a christening, they’re all equally important and need to be captured. This is what Jackie had to say after we photographed Miss K’s special day:
“Thanks so much for taking the time to make her day special, and provide us with beautiful photos which will become the most treasured memories in time to come”
Love receving emails like that! And, most importantly, photos are your memories of the day that will not fade with time. The details will always be there for you to look back on and remember

November 4, 2011This is the first of two sessions we did for this family – two sisters, each with their own little family, but living so far apart – it was great to be able to hold their sessions at the same time! And all boys, 3 little munchkins with very distinct personalities
This session was just before a HUGE storm a few weeks ago, Kate & I got caught in it on the way home, luckily we finished shooting just in time…

A big big big Thank You to the Lovely Leanne from Poppie Lane Emporium for the gorgeous pink straws.. And Daneve from Ah-Tissue for the pretty Tissue Poms! Both of these items were last minute additions and the Leanne and Daneve were oh so helpful.. Thank You Ladies
Almost there… | Gold Coast Baby Photographer
July 21, 2011It seems like Peyton’s been *almost* walking for so long now – she takes 4 or 5 steps and then decides that’s far too slow and gets down (very carefully too) and crawls the rest of the way. Or her big brother comes along to “help” her and ends up pulling/pushing her to the ground. She’s oh so careful about everything that she does, takes the time to balance, turns around slowly & really concentrates on those first few steps. Luckily I don’t think it bothers her that she isn’t very fast – I have a very patient baby there (but her patience is only limited to this one task).
This morning we decided to see if we could capture any of little steps. Peyton HATES the camera, will never smile, but desperately wants to get her hands on it – which made my little walking experiment easy! She just walked to get the camera (nope, she didn’t get it LOL). If she’s distracted I swear she would walk for miles
We are very behind in our blogging here at the Giggles Studio, so it’s a little bit cheeky of me posting this
But we’re working on it, so keep an eye out for new posts coming up – we have two maternity sessions, a baby, a family or two just to name a few (that’s how behind we are when I can’t quite remember LOL).
Also, photos of the new studio coming soon – we’re just placing the finishing touches xx

Boys will be boys | Mt Tamborine Family Portrait
July 3, 2011Boys can only ever be who they are – and we love them for it.
This gorgeous little family were such good sports this afternoon, the weather was a bit funny and my directions leave a bit to be desired
But on the upside, we found this location just for them! And we even had a little horse show when a few riders went riding on by
Enjoy
